ALEXANDER PARK MINI-PITCH

McDonough will be home to the  first mini soccer pitch in Henry County. As part of the GA 100 Project and in partnership with the City of McDonough, we are constructing a privately funded facility to  ​build interest and excitement for the game of soccer across the community in a safe and welcoming environment that is free to the public.

In soccer, a "mini-pitch" refers to a small, typically urban soccer field, designed to make the sport more accessible in communities where space is limited and traditional full-sized fields are not feasible
